Default Sena BT Headsets

I am looking to make the dive into the BT headset realm and cut the proverbial cord and am hoping for a little advice.

I will be going with the Sena for certain as I'll also take advantage if the Freewire so I'm currently up in the air on either the Sena 20S or the Sena 10S.

Both will connect to the Freewire so that's a non issue. I have read the main difference is the number of riders that can connect to the group chat feature. With the 20S offering up to 8 connections where the 10S has the option of four.

I have also read, and his is what concerns me is the 10S is a bit more robust in withstanding water/rain than the 20S so that is really my main concern..................Which is the most resistant to inclement weather, the 10S or the 20S? I have read several stories about the 20S not being as robust as the 10S when it comes to riding in the rain. And for a total cost nearing $700 for two 20S including the Freewire and the headsets not holding up in rain is an issue for me.

So I was hoping to get input from some actual users of these devices.

My 20s pair have seen it all, no issues. I can't speak for the 10s.

The 20s also gives the option of the HD clamp.

Its basically a cheap Harley headset the can also support the 20s. It just gives more options as your passenger can use that without the 20s while you connect to the freewire. Or if your battery dies just swap the 20s for the cover/jumper and you are back in business bike comms and CB.

I like my 20s, rain has never even been a consideration.

That is very good to know, thank you. I ordered the dual pack of 20S for my wife and I along with one Freewire.
