Need help from someone more knowledgeable
Matt was nice enough to say he didn't have knowledge on the set up and Gannicus was nice enough to say, I f'd up and sell what I bought, it's beginner crap, and sell what I have. I find it funny that I was simply asking for help with what I have, and no one had any suggestions? I got my setup tuned in and for me, it is great. Sounds great, good tunes, and very happy.
I'm not saying there aren't better setups but it is what it is. I think I am like a lot of riders that aren't happy with the stock stuff and do a few changes. Not looking for the holy grail of sound.
I wonder if the main people on this audio forum actually ride their bikes. Seems the few are always quick to respond, let one know how their setup sounds, and move to the next thread.
Just so you know, I don't go to a parking lot on Fridays and Saturdays to show off my sound, I just want to hear my music while riding.
You asked why you were "Not getting the sound you were hoping for" I gave you an honest answer. If you want the B.S answer. I could tell you that the X4 was the greatest thing since slice bread and I have no idea why you're not getting good sound.
At least that's what you said in your first post. Then all of a sudden it went to "Im very happy with my sound" in your second post.
The truth of the matter is I've installed that amp more times than I care to mention along with many other amps and you're right I was being "nice" Honestly that amp is a P.O.S amp and you're NEVER gonna get the sound you're looking for with that amp.
If you're going to come on the audio forum and ask for help and tell us you don't know crap about this stuff and then bash the guys that do. There's no help for you bro. Go forward and do great things with the PBR300X4. Good luck in your quest for better sound.
I am glad to see that your getting some good advice now though.
