Mike I envisioned an actual "sound off" for the guys here. Riding around is great but as an audio forum my thoughts were we would focus on that. I wouldn't let an extra hundred bucks on a hotel discourage you from a good time. We all spend a ton of time on our bikes, this is an opportunity to do what we do on this forum everyday but in person. You guys make the call and let me know how you want to theme this. If this is just a ride around with a few dudes then I'm likely out. I'm a city boy I like people, events, beers, good "views" etc. I'd go for the audio aspect more then the ride.
Run with it man. Ur idea so pick the place and the dates and I will see if it fits the schedule.

Well I'm realizing it's going to be impossible to get a date and location that can accommodate everyone. I'd still like to go forward with this and it can grow to a bigger draw for another event in the spring.
I know this probably won't work for this get together, but this offer is always open for something similar. I can get Heart of Dixie HD Dealership in Birmingham AL to host an audio competition. They have the biggest dealership and parking lot I have been to at any dealership. I can empty my shop for the weekend, and have another event there the next night. Shop is big enough to have 60-80 people and bikes NP. I can get anyone with a camper a spot in a camp ground 2 minutes from my house a spot. Just an offer for an additional event sometime.
This could work. Meet and greet at Bills shop, then event at the HD dealership the next day.
How do-able is this for folks on Columbus Day weekend? Oct 13th weekend. Heck if it's too far for you snow folks catch a flight and spend the day.

This sounds good too. Heart of Dixie is friggin huge.

I get get back from vacation on Monday and will start working this.
I am always down for a get together and meet new people from our forum. I will ride anywhere rain or shine so keep us posted. Thanks for taking the time to put this together.
