First thing you have to do is get some 6.5 adapters and 6.5 speakers in there. While you're at it you might as well get another amp or you could just go with the Infinity kappas and call it good with the SS amp. The Kappa set up will sound much better than what you have now.
Shix, if 5x7s fit why not go with the JL C5 5x7 up there. No telling what fairing he has.

The JL's are high end for sure! But I've never tried em in any fairing and if I have not tried it I won't recommend. But I'm pretty sure they would sound good in there though!! Now that I think about it. He's got a RG. 5x7's are common in an RG. They just used s**ty speakers. The JL's could be the ticket!

The OP has a 2011 Ultra. Curious as to how they mounted 5x7's in the fairing.

I've seen some crappy installs with things just hanging off the fairing with drywall screws. You never know!

I stopped in a few stereo places today and the guy at the last place I believe was the most helpful. I showed all the pictures of what I have. He looked up the specs on the head unit and amp and suggested the JL C2 coaxials. He said they would handle the power and sound much better. So.... I am going to put them in tonight and see how they sound. He said I could return as long as I don't cut any wires.

He he also said he would not bridge as it would be too much and could fry the speakers.

Thoughts before I get home?
