Default Amp help....

Hey all..
A few years ago I bought an Arc audio KS125.2 BX amp and a set of Focal 165 krc speakers. Great setup from Sounds Customs.
Last sunday I discovered that a mouse had made a nest in my fairing between the left speaker pod, and the head unit. It chewed the wire leading into the left speaker pod from the Focal crossover.
I took it all apart, replaced the damaged wire with a soldered splice using the same gage wire. When I reconnected everything I get a series of lights showing on the diagnostic led when I power it up. I get a series of green flashes , followed by one long red and four short flashes.
That repeats twice, then one long flash and two short flashes. After that back to green and it repeats. Ive contacted sounds and received a rapid series of emails, but due to the holiday everybodys off. Also with all wires disconnected except the power lead, ground and orange accessory wire I get the same series of flashes.
The code 14 is Over volt protection- The battery voltage is unusually high and could damage the amp.
The code 12 is short protection- the amp has detected a short and shut down to avoid damage.
The fuse is fine and I don't see anything else damaged.
Anyone know a solution I can try before I spring for a new amp? I hate like hell to put it all back together until its fixed.
Thanks all

Sounds like the mouse got a hold of some other wires. You need to check and verify AGAIN all the wiring in the fairing.

Yes all wiring checked.
With only power lead, ground wire and accessory wire connected (speaker wires, amp imput disconnected) still getting error codes.
Fuse (30amp) is good. I've unhooked all leads and test lighted the + - leads to ensure all power was 0 with light and multimeter.

Sounds like that mouse is threatening your freedom and should be treated as a terrorist. Forget the wires and amp and get yourself some traps and peanut butter and surround the motorcycle immediately. The problem is the mouse, not the wires! Take care of problem 1 before you address problem 2.

America!

Have you disconnected the power wire from the amp and measured current with ignition in the off position then switching to Acc? If all is good, remove the remote wire and test it the same way. I'm not questioning your DMM skills but it sure sounds like the terrorist found another wire. Pull the fuse for the amp and see if you can get a reset somehow. I doubt it, but worth a try. All it would take for that code to pop is a ground and a power to be touching a strand or two somewhere. If he got in your speaker pod, he can get under your seat and under your tank. I wouldn't stop looking at the fairing, keep moving back and examine all sides of each of those wires front to back.

Traps all over garage, I'm out numbered.
Anyways I've checked and triple checked the wires . Getting ready to pull fuel tank and check the raceway.
I've pulled the fuse and replaced it. The speaker pod was checked and all good inside. Even with speakers unplugged still same code. If all looks ok under tank, it has to be that the chewed speaker wire shorted out something inside the amp.
Thanks for all the replies... I'll let ya know how it pans out

If you've disconnected all inputs and outputs - and only have the power wires hooked up (+ / - / ACC) and you're still getting codes from the amp, then the amp is having an internal issue. If you're sure the power is properly applied (~12v-14v input) - then it's time to send it in for service or replace it.

Remove all power from bike and amp (at battery) for a few mins and see if the amp does a hard reset.

Already killed all power, still same result. Bike is back together sans the amp. I'll pull it apart again when I get a replacement
