Default siriusxm head unit

Guys I just upgraded from a 2011 ultra limited to a 2017 road glide ultra and am having problems connecting my siriusxm head unit to the infotainment radio. I dont want to get rid of my siriusxm head unit because I can use it in my truck and home also. I also dont want to pay for two different siriusxm accounts. There is no 3.5 mm plug to just plug it in. I bought a bluetooth transmitter and receiver but it does not seem to work either. Anybody have any ideas? I am about to pull out what little hair I have left. Any ideas would be helpful.

You can get a 3.5 male input jack from hd that will plug in where a cb module would plug in, inside the fairing. The dealer would have to flash the radio to activate that port after the install. They do this with their Digital Technician. They can even name that media as XM for you.

I had the same issue with the Ford Sync In my work van. The only thing that wound work was buying the PowerConnect car setup for my Sportster 5. It transmits an FM signal that you can pick up on the radio. Not perfect, but it's the only thing I found that works. Tried the bluetooth route also with no joy. The Sync will only accept a password protected signal & the bluetooth Transmitter was non protected. Wouldn't be surprised if Harley was the same.

sounds just like the problem I am having. I can get the harley to notice it but it wants the PIN number checked and then it jumps to failed pairing because there is no way to enter a PIN number on bluetooth transmitter.
