PBR300x2 on 2017 SGS

I have a PBR300x2 that I removed from my 2010 SG. Is it possible to use it on a 2017 SGS with the stock head unit ?? I was thinking I can just wire it in like normal but what about flashing the HU to get the best sound possible with the addition of an amp ?? Am I thinking along the right lines ??

And you can't run that amp or any other amp without a Line Levelor from Biketronics (BT355) or some type of DSP to flatten out the EQ curve on the Rushmore HU's.

Not completely true ran into some guys at open house from Washington four of the guys had tunes long story short they where rocking dual 6x9 lowers and fairing fosgate amps and combo of speakers between them and bike shop there use's zero line leveler or dsp none had pro audio and I was very surprised all bikes sounder good not great but very good.They tried to call and get me flash info but was on Saturday and we both had to run.I remember posting about it here and others chimed in with like story's.
That said never found way to make things work without sbates recommendations.
