if you look at my previous posts I think I have the best audio guy in the Chicagoland area (BabyBoy) but Im trying to figure out how to add more to my current system without losing the saddlebag space or adding lowers. My system clarity and performance is outstanding I just want more.
Just wondering if anyones tried experimenting options?
Currently have:
Arc 600.4
MMats 601.4
Digital design vo 6x9 Lids
Digital design t2 tweeters

Don't use "tweeters" with pro audio speakers. I can't say that enough times --- use horns. Use higher efficiency speakers up front, add more power to your lids. Flash your head unit and add a DSP.
Flash is done and has DSP. For all I know it may have horns not tweets. I trust “BabyBoy “ completely I just didn’t know if there were additional mounting locations for more that people have seen.
I love what was done just would like low end which is hard at high speeds and I’m very glutinous! Most of my riding is at 85 mph+

You will NEVER get low end at high speeds. Some mid bass punch sometimes but low end will never happen.

Here we go again!!!!!
Little perspective? If ur gonna buy s truck, donât buy a 1/2 ton F-150. Itâs a clown car.
If u are not willing to pull gauges, drill holes in your fairing, donât have a viable EQ, donât have amp power/channels to run horns then the proper tweeters work damn fine.
If u cannot afford a 3/4 ton truck (amp channels), donât mind settling for an average powered engine (no DSP/EQ), or are willing to knock walls in your garage down to park the 3/4 ton in there (drill holes in fairing), or care about putting all the stuff in your garage out in the rain to be able to park in there (wasting amp channels requiring and amp in the bags) then go ahead and get the 1/2 ton F-150 as it will work just fine.
U really have to get over this horn v tweet thing brother. There are personal decisions made in each individualâs audio decision making matrix that will ultimately define their audio sandbox. In some cases guys will simply decide to use tweets with PAs while at the same time guys will also buy an F-150.
If you don't want to lose gauges or cut into your fairing there are options for horns. The Beyma AST 50 can be mounted in the grill just like a tweeter and Babyboy was successful at installing a DD B3 in the grill infront of his Mmats. Just a couple of examples.
The guy says he wants more? He using entry level T2 tweeters with pa drivers that don't play well past 5-6k hertz. He's also using an Arc Moto so theres still room for a small amp. Splitting up the front give his 6.5's more power and horns would give him additional volume. Understand there's decisions for everyone to make, no issues there....but he's looking for "more."
