Either that vid is way jacked up or my electronics are way bad. It goes to slow motion and sounds like death.

Anyone else getting the same?

Sounds fine on this end, but I don't get the football field away recording, I have no idea what the SQ is like.

I just watched it and it seems fine. It did that once when I first uploaded it then it’s been fine.

Let me try uplaoding another. Settings on radio are flat. I just adjusted the crossovers on the amp a little. I know they could be adjusted better.

That sounds great Garrett! Must have been my electronics.
Nice job on the instal!!! Take ur time with the tuning. The correct crossovers for ur riding style will make or break those speakers.

That means a lot coming from you. I’m going to go over it all again next weekend when I pull the pods for the BT brackets. I just don’t want to push anything too far or have a crappy sounding stereo. This is definitely going to be a large learning process. What sounds good while it is sitting sounds different with my helmet on. I’ve been looking at lowers and lids. I hate you all.

Went back and listened to both vids that they work good and sound great.
This is some really addictive shix brother!!!!

As u do your final install wit brackets really take ur time with all the connections thus guaranteeing reliability. Almost all hiccups tend to be connections. If u have butt connectuons those Home Depot shrink connectors and a $20 Wagner heat gun will go a long way.

When u start fine tuning make sure u consider the ride. Crossed at 70 in the garage sounds awesome but rolling down the road ur gonna want to lean harder into the Speaks due to wind and engine thus crossing higher will be the key. If u ride at an average high speed u might even consider 90-100. I really liked those speaks at 90 but I'm more of a back roads rider.

So in general the higher the crossover the higher the gain can be mainly because ur cutting out the lower mid bass freqs that will typically distort earlier in the game thus u can lean into the gain a bit more if u limit the risky freqs. Bass = Distortion. Some guys even run those crossed at 110!!!

Awesome job brother. Stop and smell them roses!!!!

Sounds awesome man! I had a feeling that D4.60 bridged to the MPX 165.3s would sound great and indeed it does! I'll bet installing those in the Biketronics brackets and with some fine tuning on the crossover/gain and you'll be very happy.

I spend probably 60-70% of my riding on the freeway. I don’t choose to, just the nature of the SoCal beast. I prefer to hit the canyons and twisties but it takes a while to get there. I’d love the bike to sound great parked and I want it to sound great cruising at 90. Can I get best of both worlds? I’m already looking at lowers and lids but I would rather put the money towards a 110 and heads.

Ugh.

Y’all are bad influences!!
