Has anyone found a good grill for the 652's? I am going to use them in the TP pods and the grills don't look that protective for that location.
Thanks,
Dave
I don't have a tp but wondered that myself. If it were my, I would try to get some that screw on instead of snap on. What grills are you running up front? I just realized you are in Hawaii. No wonder you are here so late. You're 6 hrs behind me. I lived on Kopiolani Blvd in Honolulu when I worked at Tripler Med Center. I was there 9 months in their ICU. Love that place.
Any way, I would try to match the front grill as much as possible.
I am curious to know what is recommended as well. I will be putting lowers on my FLTRXS soon, and am going to put my MM652s in them. I agree the grills do not offer enough protection (and they are fugly). My plan at this point is to use the grills I have from my Arc Moto 602s, but I have no idea if that will work or not???
I used the HD Boom grills. You have to push the center out a bit to clear the tweeter. I did this with a large and small diameter PVC pipe pieces with the grill laying on a folded towel to allow them to move outwards and protect the finish. Did this a few times until I was happy. I saw it in the tread https://www.hdforums.com/forum/audio...t-glide-2.html. My only problem was the speaker and grill holes didn't line up perfectly.

Was this in the fairing or the TP pods? Assuming the Hogtunes grills are the same as the Booms, I wasn't sure if they would mount outside the Polks when flush mounted to the rear pods.
Thanks a lot for the info.

On the TP pods. There cost more than the Hogtunes but I had a gift card so went for them.
