I would like to upgrade my 4 speakers and amp..Is there a better sounding system that would require plug and play only?
Suggestions please..
Peace and Prayers
Do you have a budget in mind? Currently running stock or something else? Don't get too tied up in plug and play or lose sleep over thinking it has to be a "kit", almost everyone and their brother provides connectors for their components so just about anything is plug and play. As long as you don't have to cut the harness on a rushmore it's easy stuff.
Defining plug and play, I will assume (we all know what the mother of assumption is) you mean not cutting factory wires. With that in mind and keeping your stock head unit, you will need a set of bt355 line levelers that will plug directly into the stock speaker outlet front and rear from your head unit. No cutting or splicing factory wires. Once that is achieved, wiring to the amp is rca connectors and from there on your plug and play depends on what amp, speakers and how you want to run the system is achieved. With your ultra, you have 4 speaker set up and will need a good 4 channel amp. Speakers (4-6.5) is personal choice for your listening ears and what will fit in the bike.
I just put in a SSPN4 1000 with DB Motos in Fairing(and BT brackets) and TP with PRVs in the wet lowers.. Just did a writeup on the forum today. Go read and see what you think.....
My whole setup was about $1050.....don't tell the wife:0(
Im playing around with the focal fdp sport amp as we speak and for $600 shipped it's one hell of an amp, i didnt want to spend that much but im glad i did so far, also running some db drive motos sounds great. I also have a DD D4.90 for sale if interested.

Same here. Best investment I ever made. As far as the jm system listed above, you can and will do a lot better for the $$ than $1800 wow. BTW I also have a tm400xad for sale if interested.lol Just saying the focal is a great amp.
I probably shouldn't even reply as there's others on here who know way more than me. But I bought a Arc Moto 600.4 amp, then I bought all the wiring from them, then I bought the Arc 602 speakers. Before the speakers came in I was done with the rest of the install. So I went to a local guy and bought other speakers that I like better than the arc speakers. Their wiring is truly plug and play. If I was doing it again, I would buy their amp and wiring and then buy the speakers I like. I can also tell you that I rode this weekend with a group and the guy that was 2 bikes back said he could hear my music over his and his bike lol.
