I have a 16 RGS and I'm looking to up grade my system from Hertz Mille Pro 165 and Diamond Audio Miro 4v2. Money bring no problem what's the best combo for fairing 6.5 and bags 6x9 and amp ?
thats a pretty loaded question IMO, id say you probably can't go wrong starting with the new Focal sport amp, or I hear BT is coming out with a new amp too. Speakers seem to be pretty personal depending on what sound etc your after.
Best for me, isn't always best for you. But, that being said, I'd look to Tailwind, Haze324, SBates08, Travelingypse and Gannicus for answers. They seem to know their Shix. Right now, I think people are swaying more towards PRV and MMATs for speakers. On amps, I believe a lot of people are waiting to see Biketronics new offering. Rumored to produce 250w RMS x 4 @ 4Ohms. But, Focal just released a pretty good one, as well. (or so I've read) Me? I'm happy with what I have.

Need to know a few things.
1. Are you planning to change the milles up front?
2. Are you running a stock hu and do you have a bt355 line leveler?
3. What color is your 2016 rg? The reason I ask is you may have a hard time getting paint for speaker lids.

Just out of curiosity. What is it you don't like about the set up you have now? I'm pretty sure I know the answer but I always like to hear other opinions.

I would like to upgrade everything if that means going to a component style speaker up front so be it, I know Hertz speakers gobble up power so the Micro 4v2 is going to have to get better. I'm running the stock head unit and have no plans on changing it. My bike is velocity red I live near a very reputable bike shop Detroit Choppers just looking for some ideas to go in with.

the sound is good I just want louder and clearer, its just me being me and have money in my pocket to burn.
If you are going 4 channel and adding rear lid 6x9's I believe the focal sport will have plenty of power for all 4. 175 x 4 at 4 ohms is the most powerful amp for a sled today. Tomorrow is another story as this stuff changes daily. As far as speakers go, it is up to personal preference and what type of music. The milles you have now are loud as hell when set up properly but as those are what I am running now, I find them very crisp and not as warm as other setups I have had in the past.
