Looking for More..
Lots of great advice and folks on here with tons more knowledge and experience, so I am turning to the experts on here.
I have an 08SG with just (2) speakers in fairing and do not plan to add any more, no lowers or TP, want to keep the bag space for the OL we do a lot of trips and can't give up the bag space. Looking for a little more warmth from the system, right now its just loud and a the highs are just too high. Is there a better option for with this setup? Is this just a tuning issue?
Current system:
Amp: CVB52
Speakers: ArcMoto 602 (getting approx 200W) to each speaker per DMM tuned with bike on (used sticky for values)
HU: Sony MEx70BT
Tuned as follows:
Version 1: Sounds very muddled
B1 +4
B2 +6
B3 +6
B4 +5
B5 +5
B6 +4
B7 +4
B8 +6
B9 +6
B10 +6
have also tried this version:
Version 2: Sounds very bright the highs are really high, no real bass or maybe its just getting lost at 70mph+
B1 -6
B2 -0
B3 +4
B4 +2
B5 +1
B6 +0
B7 +2
B8 +4
B9 +6
B10 +6
DSEE - On on both versions
C Audio - Off on both versions
Slope 1
Am I missing something or is this just the way it is.
TIA

I think when tuning always start at flat...I think people sometimes equate flat setting as sounding flat...think of it as neutral or "uncolored"! The band or artist and producer or producers, have spent endless hours EQing and mixing their music to achieve the sound they would like you to hear(flat)! Usually some tweeks to the EQ spectrum, to tailor the sound to your liking & environment is all that is needed! If it sounds "flat" to you instead of jacking the various frequencies up or down first increase the volume to "liven" up the music! Usually ya shouldn't have to have more then a -3 -4 or +3 +4 boost in the EQ to achieve a rich full sound...just my $.02..depends on what you hear and how you like it!

Have you tried NOT using the eq settings? Look for preset settings ie.. Rock, Country, Hip Hop, etc...I have mine set on Rock. Pm if you have any questions.
