I'm afraid one of the smart folks will have to answer that one the only real speakers I've used in a bike are these Motos and ADs.
I appreciate all the info on the gains settings. I backed the bike out a little bit ago and cranked it up and wound up dialing down the rear channel with the four ADs on it just a tad so it wouldn't distort at full volume. I used a Cry of Love CD and played the song "Bad Thing" because it had a hard hitting bass line and I figured that would distort as much as anything I had laying around. I found that if I dialed the gain down on the front channel with the Motos the protection light came on at full volume so I put it back to the 10-11 o'clock spot I had it on and all seemed well.
Oh I almost forgot I also put my helmet on because the chin straps obstruct audio a little from the rear. That caused a bad setting when I first set up the original four speakers.
I gotta say the addition of the two ADs in the lowers really filled the missing spot on the sound stage.

This line right here explains why I always recommend upgrading the lowers over the tourpack if your only doing 2 sets of 6.5 speakers. In your face will always have more presence.
They are in your face that's for sure, but I really appreciate the rears in the mix as well. It's hard to describe but the rear and lowers seem to be blended perfectly. Bring in the Motos and it make for a great spot to be in the middle of.
I searched your other threads and only found one picture. Can you post some more pictures of your install, or a link to the thread with pics?
What pics were you looking for Marshall? The completed bike or some installation pics? I've got several that I haven't posted but I made sure to take them so I could document the process later.
I'm gonna tinker with the Motos a bit this weekend on a buds bike but my experience with the Motos and EPC6K was to run HP and cross them about 85-90. This will allow u to lean into the gains a bit more without distortion. Those can be pretty solid on the bass if u let them be but too much bass = distortion

I can say those Motos rock even with a full helmet on they sounded great and I am powering them with the same amp
Hey Mike did you go high pass or flat with your Motos? Mine is set to flat and it seems OK. I wouldn't mind tinkering with it but in order to access the controls for that channel of the amp I actually have to remove the amp because the frame rails obstruct them. Removing that amp with all the crap I have tied to it is not something I really want to do if I don't have to.

I'd like to see how you fit the amp in. I guess an outer fairing off pic would suffice. I know install pics are kinda seen one seen em all but I like them.
