Yeah. Saw it on a bike here and it kinda grew on me. Would love a sub on the bike but don't want to lose tour pack space or saddle bag space. Have seen them put inside bags and cut out bag and direct sound back toward the wheel. But don't wanna lose that space. These were called Twisted 8 Lids. Dunno..... still looking into it and trying to figure this monster out. Like I said..... wanna get as close as I can on first try.

Those were more than likely mid bass 8" speakers and not subs. There's a difference. The majority of what you see inside the bags are also mid bass.
At some point I may look into putting speakers in the lids but those eight inch lids look like they stick up a lot. I still have the tour pak and factory seat and I wonder if it would fit and function with those. Also my wife is only 4'9" tall and I think they may hit her her legs as well. If anyone has used them in these situations chime in. Because of that I was thinking maybe 6x9s instead if I go that route.

You are correct sir... Rookie mistake on my end.... lol. That's why I hang around here, tons of great info.

Very good point. Mine is 4'11" and we had to add the lifted footboards because of that.
That's the truth! Totally worth it though! I started out wanting to go louder with hog tune tweeter pods. Learned very quick to just ditch them and build a whole new setup.
