Shoot all that stuff is installed in the bike with the exception of that one lone AD Designs CX621 sitting up top. The first set I got from them for the rears had a bad tweeter out of the box. They promptly sent me a new one and all was well. That bad one came in VERY handy once I got the Fairing Factory lowers. This current model AD Designs is selling has a very fat basket and a lot of 6.5" enclosures and speaker spacers will not fit them. Since I had to do some grinding with a Dremel to get them to fit I was glad I was using a bad one to test fit. Getting the lower fairings modified to fit aftermarket speakers and grills was a major pain. That bad speaker didn't look too good once I was done.
I stopped at an amp and 2 speakers, I think I am done. Seriously.
Yeah right, wait till that little grimelim jumps up on your shoulder and whispers in your ear " I think it would be better if you had 2 more speakers and a bigger amp and a etc etc.," Lol. I don't think it ever ends. I wondered what some on here meant when they said chasing a unicorn, now I know.
I started at 4 speakers and an amp and was considering 6 speakers and an amp or two with a 2K budget. Now looking at 6x9 lids to go along with it and even considering 8" subs in each lid. It never ends..... I only have one shot at this and wanna get it right the first time IF I can.
