Default Simple system

Hello all I have 14 street glide I already bought rear lids from Nasty Hogs and pioneer 6900 pro 6x9s I'm looking for suggestions on an amp and front speakers. I'm probably only ever going to run the four speaker system. I just want a clear sounding system. Is the Biketronics 4180.14 amp going to give me what I want? Or am I better off piecing it together. I am unsure of what 6.5s will be the best bang for my buck. I know this topic has been beat to death but I would appreciate your input.

I'm gonna go out there on the ledge a bit and suggest a 4 channel amp like the Hertz HDP4, the ARC Moto 600.4, or similar amp that pushes 150x4 @ 4 ohm.
As for fairing speakers I would think the BT fairing Pod eliminator Brackets and also the DB Moto Speaks it if u want to get aggressive the Resilient Sounds RM 6.5s.

That amp is powerful enough for what you want. The only drawback is it has no gain or cross over controls. The Arc moto 600.4 is also a good choice for your setup. As far as speakers goes, db design wdx6moto's are very efficient, loud and a great bang for the buck at $180 a set. You will need 1 or 2 bt 355 line levelers depending on your set up. Others will chime in but this setup is a solid choice.

Thank you for the quick reply. Jus a couple more quick questions will these fit under my fairing? If so what bracket do I need. And are line levellers and a flash needed? And is there a harness to plug into my factory speaker harness? I realize the sound quality would probably be better with real speaker wire and I would rather not chop up my harness. Thanks again

Biketronics speaker brackets and biketronics bt355 line levelers. The LL eliminate the surging voltage the stock boom box delivers and eliminates any flash needed to the HU. No harness needed as the LL plug direct into the speaker outs from the HU and rca cables from the LL to the rca input harness to the amp. Stock speaker wires can be used and butt connected to the amp output harness. No cutting or splicing to factory wiring.
