Default Need some ideas guys.

I currently have HCX165 in the fairing and Pioneer tri's in the tp pods, driven by a Arc 600 and a psm. I finally got my lower pods and ready to make some changes. I like my HCX's so at this point, I think I'll keep those. I own a set of Arc 602's and a set of Mm652's. I'm also ordering a set of DB Motos. I'm not afraid of getting PA speakers either although the PRV might be a tough fit in the lowers with a wethead.

My BIL wants an upgrade on his SGS so i have options to get rid of some of my inventory.

I'm wondering about amp options to drive fairing, lowers and tp in a single amp, if possible. If not, I'd settle for a small amp in the tp. I don't want to give up storage space. Also what combinations of speaker placement do you think would work best. I'd like to get to a point of being done, as if that's possible...haha. I also have speaker brackets in stock if there is definate fairing change to make it worth it. Like i said, i like the hcx in the stock ported pods.

Thanks for all you guys do!!!

I have a removable tp that i take off around town. I like having more than fairing only, so i wanna do lowers since they're aiming at you too. So my thought is to do the lowers now that they make pods for the wetheads.

My thought is with the psm i can tune the fairing and lowers for when the tp is off and still tune it for when the tp is on. Basically trying to add as much sound stage as possible without taking up real estate in the bags or trunk.

If I can drive all 6 speakers off of 1 amp that would be ideal. If not I could give up space for a small amp in the tp to drive those speakers alone and drive the fairing & lowers on a fairing amp. I was thinking since my BIL wants an upgrade I'd have a buyer for excess speakers and the Arc 600 if an amp change comes intro play.

Keep the Moto 600.4. Run the fairing HCX off 1/2, run the DB Motos or SP Audio CM6 in the lowers off 3/4.
Get a micro and side mount it on the clutch side of the pod eliminator bracket and bridge it for the rear. Put a fuse just under the neck in front of the tank so u can easily pull the fuse when the TP is off.
If u don't like the HCX with the pods out, get the Resilient Sounds RM 6.5s and tweeters for the fairing.
Just make sure u get some solid thump coming from the rear and DSP the shix out of all of those Speaks for a little warmth.

U will be the trophy king at the Midwest Greet for sure.

Is there a better micro amp from another? Also is there a preference between the DB's or the SP's for the lowers? And last but not least, what do i use for the thump in the tp?

you'll probably have enough room for something better than a 'micro amp" when you get rid of the pods, might have to fab the bracketing stuff, but i'd bet you could fit a RF tm400ad4 or another arc in there. or you could try the more powerful Focal sport amp and get creative with the wiring scheme. i just did a 14 SG for a customer and was suprised at how much room opened up without the stock pods for the fairing speaks. maybe one of the JL MX series amps run in bridge mode just for the rear.
just an idea.
