Default Sirius XM Module Install?

I just received the XM module for my recently bought used 2015 Ultra Limited. The instructions are very vague. Anyone here know of a video or some concise instructions on how to install the module. I don't seem to find any information on how to install this. I am confused as how this module is connected to the Boom Box 6.5 GT because the kit did not come with a wire to plug into the radio. The packaging content are Antenna, Module, Bracket, Nylon Ties, Sticky tape. I would hate to go to the dealership and pay crazy price rate for an install. Any help appreciated, thanks.
PS. I am not happy that a top of the line HD short of a CVO bike doesn't come with this already installed.

Uncle Larry's link explains it all. If it helps, it's no different than installing a network card in a pc.

When you turn on the radio after installation the XM option will show up in the media menu. Hit the button for Sirius/Xm and it will give you the phone number and radio id to set up a subscription.

Uncle Larry, I have read those instructions online and the packet paper they are no help. Have you installed this on your bike?

Dsm Limited, ok I understand now, it works like a card in a computer that explains it. I was wondering if there was a cable missing to connect it. Thanks

When you call to activate tell the rep the dealer said the module comes with a free 3 month trial.

After some haggling they gave it to me.

torchmaster, I have a subscription on my Zumo 665 I was simply going to call Sirius and have them transfer it to the bike. Are you saying that because I bought the module I will get three months free even though?
Thanks

Hardest part of install was replacing the screw that keeps the module from coming loose

Oh I forgot to ask a second question, I read somewhere that there is a better location on the bike to put the antenna for better reception? anyone know of this. I had my Zumo NIM installed on previous bike and the antenna lost reception under roads with tree line or in the mountains.

I put mine on the left side.GPS is on the right side, directly across on left,I'm guessing where the factory would have placed it.only difference is I have a road glide not sure if that matters
