I'm not gonna bite. Too many variables to be caught up in a AHA moment.
LOL I don't blame you.
My point for this thread was not to bash any amp nor response from anyone. My point is that with the right set up and tune the tm400x4ad is a viable amp for a 4 speaker set up. Granted that if the setup has more than 4 speakers or low efficient speakers a 100x4 amp will not be enough.
The first vid was the focal. The second was the tm 400x4ad. The focal was clearer and more crisp especially on the high ends. The RF was warmer and had more bass presents even at higher volume. In both vids the volume was 3/4 and filters were set the same.
The wdx motos sounded great with both but like most 6.5 there was little bass. At speed they have good midrange sounds with both amps but crisper with the focal.
The milles in the rear produced enough bass to rattle the lids if not locked down with both amps. As far as volume goes, both amps were loud and could be heard at 70.
As far as my opinion goes, ill keep the focal amp even though it is crisper and not as warm it does define sound better at higher speeds as it is more crisp but the tm400 is a viable option for a good 4 speaker set up with the right speakers and tune.

Cost is another consideration. Does your bike sound "twice" as good with the Focal or 300.00 better with the Focal, etc.

That is totally up to each persons budget and goal for their setup. I want the focal if I am going to parallel speakers or run 8's in the rear. On the same note, the rf amp will do justice to a good 4 speaker set up.
So what speakers or speaker specs are u recommending that would drive someone into a RF T400x4 amp (Amp used in this comparison) purchase for a 4 channel setup?
Well the motos you suggested sound great in the front as do the milles in the rear. I haven't tried the milles 6.5 with this in the front but I do know they don't sound good with the focal amp. the highs with that combo are ear piercing. I also know that the arc 602s blew about 2 min. after installing them with the focal. Funny thing about them is no signs of distortion AT ALL as I started rolling the gain but that damn blue smoke rolled out of 1 with the gain less than half.

Yeah brother, I'm not familiar with the RF amp thus was curious if you had a general sandbox of specs or speakers u would recommend for 4 Speaks as some of these Speaks are damn hungry for a RF T400x4 100x4@4 platform.
Just don't want to get in a position where General recommendations are misinterpreted and guys are not getting the head room that might be required in their builds.

T.
I agree and would not recommend the amp with any pro set up. I do know it will sound good with hertz hcx 165.3 as I have installed a few. think I will try the mille 165.3 's with this amp just to see how it performs. For someone wanting JUST 4 speaker set up AND using the motos in front with the tw6900's in the rear, would be a very loud good viable set up. Even with the power hungry hertz in the rear it will sound good. BTW I don't think the milles are as power hungry as the hcx series.
