Anyone know what the max speaker depth is on a 17 Street Glide batwing faring, with and without speaker pods?

 

The max speaker depth is going to be contingent on magnet diameter as well while in the pods. Pod mods can be made to overcome the limitations.

Out off the pods and in brackets, the depth is pretty much limitless. I can't imagine any 6.5 in. speaker not fitting.

 

There are more than a few that don't fit without the pods that require some creativity but nothing on the current HD Forum recommendation list.

Magnet diameter and the pods are the things to consider. As for 6.5 in. speakers, Pioneer TS-A1675R are cool. Also the Infinity Reference 6032cf is another “super sensitive” speaker.
