Default Do I need new speaker pods in fairing?

Hey everyone, I have a 2015 Ultra Limited and just found a pair of 6.5" stage 1 speakers on Ebay to upgrade from the 5.25" stock. Do I need to upgrade the pods in the fairing to fit the 6.5" speakers?

Thanks

No, I just did this same thing on my 2017. the stage 1's definitely sound better than the originals.
The original ones are 51/4 speaker in 6 1/2 frames so you don't have to do any modification to your pods.

Desert Hog, thanks for the info I thought they were 5.25" I guess Inthewind is mistaken that they come 6.5" stock on Rushmore models. I will be pulling my fairing off and dropping those 6.5" stage 1's in there. Thanks again.

Not wrong. The 2014 and up have 5.25 speakers that have 6.5 mounting configuration on them. BTW this pic is not fuzzy, you have either been drinking too much or need new glasses.
