anyone know where I can buy a set of these? It’s like pulling teeth trying to find a dealer in Kentucky and online...
The DD VO6X9 are currently on backorder until the first week of June at the earliest.
I am in the Chicago area and there are zero to be found. I have 2 sets but they are sold.
The DX and the VO series are 2 different animals
The DX are more of an automotive/car speaker that will play well in a closed environment as the VO are more of an open environment speaker
What's with all of the backorder BS with DD? I thinking they have had no less than 4 significant backorder issues in the last year. Do they use crayons and a napkin as their inventory management system?
Something to consider when making system design / purchase decisions.
My local DD dealer doesn't have a problem getting them or B3's either which I picked up last week.
My local guy has them both as well but he takes pretty damn big bites when he orders his inventory thus will easily weather the corporate DD backorder issue for now. They are out there but ur not gonna get them from a shop that orders in really really small doses.
Max, I've got a set sitting in my garage doing absolutely nothing. PM me or email me at adenton528@gmail.com and we can work something out. I think I used them about 3 weeks before changing to different lids.
I found a pair locally (Louisville) at a dealer who I though was out of business. He has another set if anyone needs them. PM me and let me know.... Will give you his number
