Gain setting on new system
Hi, just completed install on 10 ultra of jvc headunit, SS pn1000 amp and mmats 601.8 in lowers.
mmats are bridged and in parallel on rear channel. Fronts are kappas for now.
initially set with dmm 17.3 vac front and 28.3 on the rear. Intend to adjust by ear but wonder if process is different due to the bridged ,parallel config.
also had heard in past threads about leaving this amps crossovers “flat”
if this is the case do you still set crossovers in the head unit?
just looking to best integrate the two sets of speakers.
