Stereo problems
2008 Electra glide standard stereo head unit is throwing codes for rear speakers, which I dont have. The head unit came off an Ultra that did. Could this be affecting the ability to get sound out? I ran a buddys head unit off my bike and everything worked fine.

Ultra coded radios with no rear speakers attached will throw rear speaker codes, but only open codes, not shorted codes.
Codes alone are not going to prevent audio output.
shorted codes can sometimes be an indication of liquid intrusion.
any amplifiers in the system?
