Having gotten my amp and speakers like I want them I'm very happy listening to music from the speakers. I'd really like to be able to use voice commands and talk on the phone. I know there was a discussion some time ago about different mic only options but I can't find it with the search feature. Is there anything new in the area of mic only headsets? Wireless would be great.
I don't plan to spend much time on the phone plus I really doubt the dude in the green mustang will care. Lol. Basically I'm interested in being able to answer the occasional call and use the voice features without the crappie headset speakers.
There was a thread about guys trying mounting mics on the dash and fairing which didn't work well at speed and somebody had cut the speakers off a cheap headset. I was wondering if anyone had found a better solution.
I have one of those....for the price, it's acceptable. A friend gave me a new Harley behind-the-head headset, so I keep this as a spare. Just remember, if it breaks, don't expect any support. (My DIN connector fell apart, due to me pulling to hard on it but I bought some off eBay and fixed it myself)
