Hi guys new member here. I want to retain stock head unit but add amp and change speakers. I am so confused flash no flash dsp etc. As well as what speakers to use. I want to stay at 1kish range. So 4 speakers amp and dsp or flash. I have been looking at fosgate kit. I mostly listen to rock if that matters.

I think arc moto 600.4 amp, db drive Moto6.5's for fairing and Polk mm652 for tourpack would be a pretty decent setup within your budget and not too much modification to pods.
Do you ever plan on adding more?

I think the Euphoria EPC6 are a much better fairing setup for the same price. As long as the OP can drill a couple holes in the grills to mount the tweeters. Very simple process.
And I would get the BT Line Leveler / Breakout harness and forget about the flash and a DSP.
Euphoria EPC6
Polk MM652
Any well respected 4 channel amp that will fit on the OEM amp tray that pushes 4 x 150ish @ 4 ohms
BT Line Leveler / Breakout Harness
Grills
Grill cloth
Camp Dry / scotch Guard
Amp wiring kit
Done.
