Amp and speakers
i was thinking about Arc 600.4 amp for about $500 then Hertz Mille our focal 165’s speakers, about $260 in fairing (I read stay away from PA MM1’s in fairing). I can use the PA’s about $150 in the TP. By wiring harnesses etc and all about $1,000 and no flash required.
I called an an installer who suggested the following:
diamond micro 4v2 amp
hertz 165.3 speakers in fairing
leave existing H-D speakers in TP (as nothing else fits)
He would flash radio, wire and full installed for $1,000.

Thoughts?
I would go around that installer. He's wrong about the hd speakers in tp being the only thing that fits. If that is all the experience he has with hd audio, I'd do it myself or find someone better informed and knowledgeable.
As far as suggestions, what bike you're working on would help considerably.
His actual words were that he has not found a speaker that fits well or drops in like the 2013 and earlier models that had deeper cavities to receive the speakers. The 2014 and later models have openings that are scooped more shallow and nothing fits well with some tweaking.
