I bought some items from Biktronics based on recommendations of their products. I learned a few things I think require sharing.
The products are way overpriced and under the aesthetics and advertising, sub standard engineering. You can get much better quality products for much much less on the aftermarket.
I called to get a return authorization for my defective items. (speakers, amp, line levelers (joke), etc. They told me no RA was necessary and to send the items back and they would send me a check. (first red flag).
I later get an email that says they are charging a 3% fee. When the bill is over $1,000 that is ridiculous. They also added a $150 reduction to my refund for no reason and charged me $30 for a "power cable" which I did not order or receive.
Did I mention they charged me $20 for shipping when it is supposed to be free and it cost me $55 to return thier products.
The check was received, although much less than my purchase, which I deposited into my bank account.
I received notice today from my bank that biktronics stopped payment on the check and the bank charged me $10.
Now I know why the wanted to send a check instead of a credit to my card.
What a bunch of lowlifes.!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Next step is my States Attorney General. I now understand this is standard operating procedure for biketronics and they have done this same scam to many others.
Please take my advice and look for alternatives. As for the youtube videos of biketronics stuff....loud does not = good.
I've never heard anything negative of Biketronics. I've always heard good things about their products and customer service. I've spoke with them, gotten advice from them but never actually done business with them. I'll reserve judgement till further proof.

Three posts in 10 years and you want to completely slam a vendor that's supported a lot of people on here for years huh????. I'll be a gentleman and not say you're full of BS, but there's 2 sides to every story and I'd love to hear the other half of this one because you sir certainly aren't sharing ALL the details. Biketronics ain't perfect, but I've personally talked to and done business with them many times and never had a bad experience, including where returns are involved. Just like any business there are some folks that aren't happy with them, but the ratio of good to bad around here is extremely high so I'm sure you'll understand if I don't find your information to be credible.
I’ve been dealing with Biketronics for at least 12-13 years. I’ve NEVER had a bad experience with their company and on top of that. I pretty much know ALL the regulars here and they have not had any customer service issues with Biketronics either. If there is an issue Biketronics will make it right. The OP’s description of Biketronics is NOT the company I know. Biketronics has always been and continues to be one of the best customer service vendors on the forum!! As Roadie said. Two sides to every story.
