Default Speaker Recommendations

Finally getting on with my audio upgrade and have questions re. speakers.

Background.....
Bike is a 2012 Ultra Classic with stock HK head unit with Iron Cross Preamp Output - Front/Rear mod. Plan is for 4 speaker setup (fairing & TP only).
I have a RF TM400X4ad amp on the way from the classifieds here. Also have my front speaker adapters already and will get wiring.
Listen to a variety of music (classic rock, country, blues, etc) streamed from my iPhone via Bluetooth...Metra BT-HD01 Interface works great by the way.
Most of my (our) riding is 50-60 mph on backroads, secondary highways, etc. Not much 70-80 mph "super slab" running (only when in a hurry to get somewhere or no other option).

Which brings me to my speaker questions...
1. Pretty much settled on Polk MM652's for the TP and was thinking maybe putting the same in the fairing as well? Initially was thinking the db wxd6 moto's in the fairing but have read some reviews of them being somewhat "bright" and I don't want that. Like the fact that both of these options are "weather-resistant". Or is there another option I should consider for the fairing?
2. Can I use the stock speaker wiring to the rear TP speakers? TP comes off on occasion and I have quick disconnects in place already.

Thoughts?

Anyone? Was hoping to get some recommendations from some of the good folks here running (or that have run) the TM400X4ad amp.

I have the db wxd6 motos in my 07 RG. I really like them, they don't seem too 'bright' to me at all. (Running fairing speakers only)

With that amp (I am running it right now) hertz hxc or the new cpx don't sound too bad. The new infinity kappa 62IX are bang for the buck and sony xs-gs 1621 are all good sounding speakeers with that amp. Arc 602 motos are another option.
These are all coax. If you want to up the game you can go PA but may require modifications to fairing, speaker grills to install.

Thanks for the reply. As mentioned, these were the speakers I originally thought of putting in the fairing. Are you running the motos with the TM400X4ad amp?

Regardless of price, the sonys sound better and are $60 cheaper. Their soft dome tweeters aren't ear piercing as the wdx motos. What made those motos so popular was the price for what you got. Now the price has gone up on them.

OK...will look at the Sony's then. It's on your recommendation, I picked up the TM400X4ad amp
What about my other question about using the existing stock rear (TP) speaker wires...can I utilize them as I have the quick disconnect already there for the TP? Or am I better off to run new wiring and put quick disconnects in?

You're going to have the tank off anyway. I would go ahead and run some good speaker wire to the rear. You'll be glad you did.

Thanks for confirming Bates! Kinda figured that would be the way to go.
