U have a wiring problem brother. Triple check all connections and polarities, to include the amp ***** just in case u overlooked something.

Then go back and triple check again!!!

No flash is required with the BT355 and a 2 speaker setup. But a radio reset never hurts.

No flash should be needed. Check your wiring and the hpf/ lpf switch. Does it sound the same set to all pass?

Was the line leveler purchased new from BT or was it used. If used, it may have had the pots played with.

So learning here..if the only speakers are a coaxial, then why hi-pass? Do you really want to limit the lower freq out?

Thanks!!

yes. Because 6.5” speaker can not produce the lower frequencies without distorting and possibly blowing the speakers.

How do you have the speakers mounted? Are they mounted like the stock speakers that came out and using stock grills? If so, then the rubber for the woofer is in contact with the grill and that will cause it to sound muffled. You just may not have a wiring problem. Look down at the top of the pod and you can see if the rubber is touching the grill or not.

Agree that you should check this. Some have been able to install the HCXs without rubbing using Boom Stage I/CVO or aftermarket grills like Hogtunes. On my wife’s 2017 they rubbed with the stock and Stage I grills so I ended up installing the BT brackets vice using pod spacers or installing them inside the pods. I haven’t tried the Hogtunes grills so that might be an easier option.
