I moved mine to the CB hole because I swap speakers out frequently and constantly pulling that amp off, clipping the ziptie, unhooking it...it just works better in the CB hole and unlike Mike's above, mine sits on it's side, not it's base. It's like the CB hole was made for it. Gain adjustments are right there in front for you to make changes.

Do you have a CB? If so, did you move it?

Removed CB entirely. I've never used one.

I removed my CB module. It is the perfect spot for a micro amp. I bent the loop over and slid an NVX400 in that space like it was meant for it.

Thanks for all the input. My CB module has to stay but maybe I can move it. Might be easier than trying to vertically mount the amp. Once I get the fairing off I have some work to do for sure.

Well even with the CB module still installed I was able to install a GZ Micro amp vertically in the cubby. I had already removed the ring with a dremmel so it slid right in.
