I talked with one of the techs the other day trying to figure out the difference from their wiring manual and what was on the back of the amp. The box also says 125 w x4@ 4 ohm and the test/ birth certificate that came with the amp in the box says 105 x 4 @ 4 ohm.

Yep I was surprised too.. The certificate of the Stinger I had said 4x101 @4ohm versus the 125
I think stinger is being conservative and stating the watts per channel are at 12 volts. At 14.5 v with the bike running it is more like 125-130 per channel. RF does the same thing with their tm 400 amp.

Conservative as Hell! That little amp pounds! My next favorite amp! Second only to the JL.
This is what came with my amp, while it sounds good to me I can't help but think I can get more out of it,I set gains with a smd dd1 but barely get to 10 o'clock on the gains and the smd shows distortion. Using 1000hz -5db
