Greetings!!..new member here. Bought a used 13 CVO Road Glide and the bag lid speakers sounded great for a couple hundred miles. Now just 'clicking' like an electrical system noise. Fairing channels are fine. The rear bag- mounted amp is Mitek. Anybody recommend a decent amp replacement assuming the amp is shot?
Welcome to the forum Greedy...looks like your in South Il.. So is this a after market audio system, what does it consist of, speakers (ohms), line levelers, HU, amps (Mitek never heard of it)! More info is needed, I'm not great at trouble shooting but some guys on here are, maybe this bump will help others respond!

Pretty sure it's a stock CVO system and the amp is MTX. I'd rip it all out and start over.

lol.. yup! Mitek is MTX. It is the rear amp. Have HK stock head unit. Front stuff is fine. All 2 ohm stock spkrs. It's my first ride with sound so I'm not too hard to please. Just need a replacement amp for those two bag spkrs.
If I'm not mistaken that's a 1 ohm system so it's not as easy as just hooking up another amp. I would scrounge and try to find that same amp in the classifieds and go that route.

I am NOT an expert on later 13 & up HD Boom audio, but from what I have read you can only replace boom stuff with Boom crap.. er..ah ...stuff! A lot of guys on here are more familiar with the HD audio, a lot of guys have tried to integrate HD stuff with aftermarket and it just doesn't work well or at all!
The responses are much appreciated! If I attempt an integrating an aftermarket amp into the system, I will post my results. The only oddity I see so far is that there appears to be two power supply wires into the rear amp.. any explanation?
Thanks dsm.. I have id'd the turn on power.. there appears to be two additional incoming power supply feeds (2 red and 2 black) into the amp. Will research a little further.
