Default What speakers?

I installed the RF TM400X4ad amp in my 2012 FLHTK powering my old Polk MM651 (front) and Polk 521 (rear) speakers. It sounds pretty good and gets loud enough to hear at highway speeds. The rears are getting cooked so I'd like to replace them. I expected this as they're only rated for 80 watts and the test results included with the amp show it pushing 141-143 watts per channel. I'm using the Polk crossovers that came with the speakers. Eventually I'll probably replace all four speakers, but for now just the rears. What do you all recommend for me? I'd like to stay with marine speakers if possible, or something that's water resistant, and I don't want to go the component route so a coax speaker is best.

Also, when installing the 6 1/2" speakers in the rear pods, is a 1/2" spacer enough to get the speakers to fit or do I need some other kind of adapter?

Thanks!

Polk mm652 will drop in rear pod with out spacer if clocked correctly. I can hear them at speed and I have 4 PA speakers in front of me

I would 2nd the Polk 652. Simple swap for you and marine rated. I didnt use spacers on my tour pack with them, but had to turn and put new holes. I used Harley grills instead of those fugly Polk ones.

That doesn't mean that it's pushing that much power to the speakers. That's what the gain control on the amp is for...to match the speakers output.
