Good speakers?
Just wondering if anyone has an opinon on the Harley Boom speakers?
Ever since I put pipes on my 2012 FLHTCU its hard for me to hear my stero.
All my buddies are trying to talk me into getting Hogtunes speakers but im not to impressed with the sound of their steros. Which ones are better? I dont listen to rap so Im not looking to put an amp or "system" on my bike. I just want something that sounds better and is louder than stock speakers and will bring out the mids and highs of some killer rock tunes.

**EDITED**
If you change speakers first that will make a tremendous difference in your sound by itself. Just make sure to match your speakers to your headunit. The headunit you have is setup to accept a 2 ohm speaker, so stick with a 2 ohm (or close speaker). There are many good ones out there, hogtunes ain't one of them (or at least that's been my expereince). You can go back with the stock size speakers in the front and rear which are 5.25" speakers. Or you can opt for a larger speaker such as a 6.5" in the fairing with adapter rings. The tour pak pods can accomodate some 6.5" speakers with no modifications. IMO the Polk Audio MM651 speakers would be an excellent choice for this setup.
If you think you need more after changing speakers, then you can look at an amp to wake those speakers up.
