Radio won't work

Nothing to flash in an 08, if it won't power on either your 12 volt hot lead, or radio ground, or both are open. Check your 12 volt hot lead to the radio (ignition on of course) against chassis or battery negative post. If you measure 12 volts at the radio then your good and the radio's ground is the problem.

Before you discount the radio make sure it is grounded and that you have 12 VDC to the radio. Check with a voltmeter between the radio's hot lead and the radio chassis and then between the battery's negative post. If you've got 12 VDC at both those places then you can assume the problem is internal to the radio. Good luck.
