I ran mine for a few days last week and didn't have the shutting down issue. Only issue I had was Android Auto wanting me to set the parking brake.
Don't have one of those so I'm assuming it;s either miswired or I need to update the firmware.
Is this issue new or did it always prompt for parking brake? If new, I dont know cause, otherwise should be able to simply ground that wire.

It started as soon as I installed the app for the first time. Yes, I need to ground the parking brake wire when I get my bike back from the dyno tuner.

Yeah, it's wired wrong. I bought mine with a custom harness and they sell a different harness if you're using Android Auto vs Apple Carplay. If you're not able to figure it out you might call the guys at Fat Head Cycle and get one of their custom harnesses for Android Auto.
I got mine, along with amp, from 702 Motoring in Vegas. I think the Sony, bezel, and adapter harness was same as from volunteer. When you have time to open the fairing, check the “parking” wire.
I can use my PV to turn eitms on or off. Never checked oil pressure or temp too much so I won't miss those.
You can roll the throttle forward and watch the cruise control light. It blinks when Eitms is turned on or off I believe. Its in the owners manual how to do it.
