Well I've been doing a little searching and found some cheaper setups. The Klock Werks Audio Kit with PSC 65 speakers and a PXA 200.2 Kicker amp and all wiring can be had for about $500.00. I also found a Kenwood KAC M1804 400w amp with Lightning Audio 80w speakers. Anyone running these setups?
Yeah no chit. Thats why I am asking for advice this time before just throwing money at it. Lol

These guys gave solid suggestion for your price point, and you look at low end kicker and klock works?
Just my opinion, but with the Klockwerks stuff your paying an up charge for their name recognition of a company known for wind screens... Kewood amps don't have much support in sled audio....
Much better off with the Lucky SD Bema combo, T's Rockville suggestion or the ARC 602s with CV amp.
I've recently seen Biketronics BT2180s sell for under $200 in the Forum Audio Classifieds. I just sold a BT Line Leveler for $50 shipped. BT typically honors warranty on their stuff lifetime even if it changes hand.
Take your time you can find a deal. Many audio guys swap parts like underwear when they are unicorn hunting....their loss is your savings.

Slam on the brakes HARD Brother.
Put those green back back in you pocket for a little while longer.
There have been some dam good suggestions given. Take your time as the tundra will unleash its fury VERY soon.
As the white shixx starts falling, alot of us start rebuilding our audio and the slightly used items go up for sale to fund the future/winter upgrades.
Do some shopping, there are plenty of deals out there besides retail prices on some great used equipment if your on a budget. The best sound quality you'll get is with replacing the HU, but that's not for everyone.
Suggestion #1:
Sony XAV5000 w/harness $448 ebay
CVB52 amp $120
Polk MM6.5 $120 ebay
Suggestion #2:
Keep HU and use ARC PSM DSP $409
or use BT355 line leveler $80
I found ARC Moto 602 speakers on ebay used for $200, really happy with that choice.
Well I finally got back around to dealing with the stereo on my bike. Based on the suggestion by DSM Limited, I looked into the CV B52 amp and the Polk MM652's for speakers. I found the amp for $130 and the speakers for $120. All I want is to be able to hear my radio decent at 60 mph. I don't need to supply music for everyone within a mile of me like some systems can. Don't get me wrong, those systems are awesome, just not what I want. This is a 1000 watt amp but the speakers are only 600 watts. 300w each. Will this combo work? The amp specs say 4 ohms 200w X2 channel, 2 ohms 250w X2 and bridged 4 ohms 500w. Not sure if I want or need 2 or 4 ohms. Just curious if anyone else is running this setup? I will be using the stock head unit and have no plans anytime soon on adding more speakers down the road. I believe I need a line leveler and have looked at the Biketronics BT 355 unit. Is that what I need and what else will I need to make this all plug and play? Once again, it is a 2019 Road Glide Special. Thanks again guys!!
I had that setup before I put in the Sony HU, you will definitely need the line leveler. It will sound better than stock, but with the stock HU bin file on/accesy issue it won't sound like much above 40mph.

What did you upgrade to? Did you just upgrade the head unit and keep the amp and speakers or did you replace them also?
