I on the other hand like the separation as the sound distribution is more like a true component setup vs. in the grill sounds more like a coax to me. At speed it is hard to tell the difference, sitting still it provides a broader area of sound distribution. I used the jarz pods so no holes were made on the inner fairing as once you drill holes out, you can never go back. I can take these out and go back to stock mirrors with no problems. It may not be for everyone but I like it and the bema horns.

I think space constraints on the pre-rushmore bikes may determine if we can grill mount horns or not. On the Rushmore bikes. the center of the grill is the center of the woofer cone, giving you max depth for cone movement, on pre-Rushmore, our adapters force the woofers to sit off center from the grill, placing the back side of the horn too close to the woofer cone...if that makes any sense.
