No kidding. Just when I think I got mine the way I like it, oops here comes something else to try that may be better. I think I will just leave my junk at home and cage it to the M&G.

I recently learned that published specs don’t mean crap and not all watts are created equal. Nothing new but was interesting to hear it first hand.

At least I'm riding. Lol

Just bring the bike, we'll hang out in the quiet zone.

I got bored and had some free time today sooooo

I recently added speakers to the tour pack pods and a B52 back there. Since I didn't feel like stripping the tank etc to do it, I just lifted it and ran RCA's remote wire and such under the tank. It wasn't as neat as the rest of my install so I tore it completely apart today. I changed up the mounting of my DSP, completely removed the CB/Intercom harness to free up some room, wire sleeved all my RCA's and power/ground wires as well as the speaker wires from my lowers, then put it all back together.

Also changed my IACV and TPS since I had the tank off and I was getting the occasional funky idle when coming off long interstate runs but basically, I completely redid my entire system and made sure it all looked OEM again.

I’m looking for some more warmth out of my fairing speaks. Yes the prvs
are damn loud there with the B3 horn but lose the warmth and upper volume.
I believe I have the volume I need coming from lower prvs so if
I lose a little volume from fairing I don’t think I will notice. I learned that
never buy a new product as there’s always issues with it. Yes talking about
The focal amp. Contrary to what others say it was no fault on my part

I bet there is. After people realize they need two or three amps to run what one or two can do
they smarten up and sell them.

Frenchie, you might think about trying the Mmats PA 601.4 speaker in your fairing. I had them in my lowers with the pRVs in the fairng. Since i changed the lowers to prv i can tell a difference. The mmats is definately a warmer sound, so that might be something to work for you. And they are affordable.

Nah that's not necessary when you have the right combination of speakers. They do a fine job. All about component matching. That's the biggest thing I have learned since I started down this rabbit hole. The downside to that is it takes a lot of trial and error....and $$$$$.

As far as warmth of sound goes I achieved it by adding a DSP. I feel much better about my $180 speakers after feeding them with a $300 DSP
