Maybe EBay has some take off Roadglide pods? I know there are a lot of Streetglide pods on there.

Update: I looked sure enough there are some on there.

I think upper speaker pads are built-in/integral to the inner fairing on the RG. Are the RG pods you see on eBay for upper or lower fairing?

Just get some different speakers that will drop right in. By the time u jack w all this other stuff, u could have purchased top tier speakers.

Yea, I saw Wevsspot info prior to getting HCX.
After removing rubber from magnets and using tapered BikeTronics adapters, the HCX fit fine.

Well did a quick try fitting the speakers and even with spacers cannot see how these would fit.

Just test fitting the speaker the rubber edge was hard against the grill catch and no holes lining up. The speaker would need to raise a fair bit to be able to move over to line up, but the grill catch would be in the way.

I have decided to return the speakers and go for something else, so annoyed as heard good things about them

If you peel off the rubber from the magnets, they fit fine with BT adapters. Grill will still attach, but need tapered adapters.

Do I need to cut the rubber boot, its very tight and not moving? Do the adapters just act as spacers?
