Default Stupid Road Glide Fairing Question

Ok, I am in the beginning stages of planning to add a Road Glide fairing to my Road King. I am not planning a FULL conversion, just basically installing sound in it. I am going to leave my speedo/tach on the tank where it is currently, and plan on getting a donor headlight nacelle to chop up instead of the Road Glide Gauge/Nacelle combo. My question is when it comes to the fairing mounted speakers.... do I need an adapter to throw a 6.5" in the factory spot? If so, what adapter ring do I need to be looking at? Probably looking at a midrange speaker with a set of tweets in 2 of the 4 gauge holes, then just capping the other 2 holes.

If you're going with a conventionally shaped 6.5" speaker then most any 5.25" to 6.5" for Road Glide will work. Hawg Wired and Biketronics both make some nice ones. If you're going with a square flanged speaker like some of the PRV's, then the Biketronics for 7.1" speakers are the ones you want.

I would think the regular metra would get you a 6.5 in there. I am not 100% on this though.
