I reset the radio last night, hopefully that helps it. Haven't had a chance to take a test ride.

Keep in mind that the radio has been reset to factory defaults. Any settings previously selected will need to be reselected, including pairing your device.

Update:

I reset the whole system as per Barney's instructions listed above and that did the trick. It's working just as it should now!

That's good to hear. Check your software for the latest version (1.22.0.1). I also have a 2018 FLHXS that was manufactured 9/17. I had to update mine from the previous version.

exactly ! When your body is between the phone and boom radio it causes issues.

If you’ve had a flash done to your radio would that delete the flash? Thanks
