I used an iPod Touch hard-wired to the audio system on my 2016 FLHTK. I'm not sure why this has happened to my audio system but here the dilemma. When I'm listening to my iPod if I push the toggle button on the left-hand grip that is designed to skip ahead or replay the current song from the beginning my system shuts off the iPod and goes to the radio/weather band output. If I press that toggle four time it will cycle through and return to the iPod output.
Has this happened to anyone else? How did you correct it?
Are you by chance pressing the left joystick in while trying to scroll forward. If you press in, it brings up Favorites. Weatherband may be setup as a Favorite. Scrolling is done by pressing forward/rearward on the joystick. I sometimes inadvertently press in also.
DSM, this issue just started a month ago, I've owned the bike since new 11-2015. The issue occurs when I push the joystick either forward to skip to the next track or back to listen to the current song from the beginning. It was suggested to update the software, the software version I'm using is out of date. I looked today on the HD website and they do not have the latest one either. Thank you for your prompt reply.
