For what the audio control SS-4100i cost I think it's worth seeing what's going on. Also worth seeing if your pushing a particular speaker out of its sand box so to speak. I've spent 200 bones on way dumber stuff that couldn't be reused.

so you’re just looking for spikes or dips in the rta and adjusting those out? Using it to determine what hertz the problem area is?

I spent like 25 bucks on this Dayton Audio iMM-6 its a calibrated RTA microphone and it was recommended as a good tool and like marshallb said I have pissed away that much on things I don't even use so if this can help its worth the money

Yeah from what I am gathering yeah and it will add to a much cleaner sound if all the speakers are playing all the freq's at the same level and it also should allow to get delay timing down but I am wondering how in the wind is going to effect delay timing

just for the record, i did not say it would not make a difference, just not worth the time and tools invested, just an opinion.
