Thanks for those pics I'll make some comparisons. My wife is 4'9" tall so even with the raised floorboards her legs get stretched out a bit. I may try those adjustable pegs like you have and see if that gets her a more stable footing.
Do you find that those lids with the 8.8s take up any more room in the bag than regular 6x9s do?
DAM! My wife is 5ft even. Never thought she would be taller then someone else!
IF thought about those Kury junk adjustable foot pegs and showed them to her. She didn't seem to care for them, I don't think they come in black anyway.
For traveling, those vacuum storage bags work really well

What didn't y'all like about the Kury adjustable footpegs? I talked to one couple that liked them but I've never seen a set installed that I could play with.

Ive had 2 Kury products and didn't like either one. As for the adjustable foot pegs, I showed the wife a set on a bike and she didn't like how they looked and said she didn't need them. They sure look like they could be functional for the passenger though.
She didn’t like how they looked??? Interesting that she wouldn’t want to
be more comfortable. Maybe she’s worried what others would think. My wife loves
ours and they work great for my daughter as well. Going on three years on mine
haven’t had any issues knock on wood. Might want to take a second and rethink that as they do help
the passenger stretch out and reposition their legs.
She has never complained about needing multiple foot positions or wanting something like that. I showed her a set and she shook her head no.
With the corbin seat she is extremely comfortable back there. For now anyway
Quite a work area there Slod...nice..your system sounds really good already! The VO 6x9's will keep up with the PA's, but with the GZCK 8's you will not miss them.! You will get more bass from the 8's in your bags, but will hear them better on the road in the lids! Hell put the 8's in the lids, 10's in the bags and then put a rack on your TP and ad a bag for travel...LOL Good luck with your quest...looks like your on the right track bro!!
