Default Faital Pro 6PR160

I installed the Faital Pro 6PR160 this week and man these things rock! I'm still tuning them and breaking them in, but very impressed so far. The sound quality is top notch and very precise in a very small and light speaker. I had the PR122s in the fairing and lids before and very impressed with Faital Pro series so far. I'm running them off a JL amp and DSP and it doesn't take too much power to make these sing.

Hey Ron, thanks for sharing. How would you characterize their sound, loud and clear...musical & accurate...mid bass thump, ect! I see their 8 ohm what's the advantage of that!

Hey Mike, I would say they are loud, clear and precise. The frequency range is supposed to be from 80-8K, but I have them crossed at 10K and they sound awesome! They only have a couple hours of play time and the mid bass is improving as they break in. The 8 ohm is so I can still bridge my amp while pairing them front and rear left and front and rear right to keep stereo sound.

Thanks for the review Ron, looks interesting. What’s the price point on these, I don’t see them listed in the usual places?

I couldn't find them in the U.S. yet either and bought them from Lean Business Audio out of United Kingdom. It was $450 for 4 of them shipped to my door.

Ron, I looked into those also but I ended up getting a set of hertz ml 1800's to go with my beyma ast 50's up front. On paper, those ml's go lower and in person they do indeed go lower than the mlk 1650's and I really like the SQ from the ml series. I would really like to hear those though.
