Default Need help with upgrading system

I have been looking all over, and glad I came here. I am starting with a 2004 Electra glide classic. stock head unit etc. I do have hog tunes tweeter bar.
Was going to do the Hog Tunes set up, but think I may go in a different direction.

I am really liking the Jenson HD1BT replacement head unit and will probably go with that. Like the looks, color of the lighting etc. Unless that unit is not good ?
I have decided to go with Hertz 6.5" speakers. But what model Hertz ? What amp would be good for this set up ?

I will only have speakers in the faring. no lowers or lids. I am willing to spend about 1,000 complete. Want to get a good, dependable sound system. Not wanting to blow the roof off or compete. But would like clear sound at any highway speeds for myself and passenger.

Let me know what you guys think would be good with the Jenson ( i do not like face plates that can be removed and hate rainbow colored face plates)

Thanks !!!

I went to a motorcycle expo Sunday and sat on a bike with Sinister audio and it sounded good. Not sure what they were using but man it was loud and clear. Cost was just under $900 for two fairing speakers and amp.
