I am hoping someone here has done this. Long story short, I have removed my Cargo Pak on my 2008 FLHTCU. Unplugged the Pak speakers and of course now have the left and right deutches plugs which can be coiled up. My question though is I am looking at putting in a 2 OHM 6 x 9 set of speakers to maintain the stock speaker set up at 4 as I am still using all stock Harmon Kardon.
What I am not sure of is when I took out the speakers to disconnect, I noticed the Deutches plug also had two pigtails positive and negative running to the speakers. What I am not sure of is where or how to run the wiring from saddle bag speakers to the existing left and right deutches plugs of the wiring harness from the Fairing which was unplugged from the cargo pak speaker box.
I guess in a nutshell what I am asking is how do I set up a wiring harness from the new saddlebag speakers to the already existing speaker harness which was currently used for the cargo pak rear speakers.
Also adding, that the Deutches plug left in the Cargo Pak speaker enclosure still attached to the rear speakers is where the pos and neg pigtails come off from to the speaker connectors
